The present ages of sunita and smita are in ratio 3:5 . if sunita had been 4 years older and smita 4 years younger , the age of sunita would have been 3 times the age of smita. find their present age

sunitas age 3x+4 and Smitas age5x-4
3(3x+4)=(5x-4)
9x+12=5x-4
4x=16
x=4
present age of Sunita=3×4=12
present age of Smita=5×4=20
