hey!

let the meet of ratio of ages be x.

Then age of three persons = 4x, 7x and 9x.

Since sum of their ages before, 8 years = 56

=) (4x-8) + (7x-8) + (9x-8) = 56

=) 4x + 7x + 9x - 24 = 56

=) 20x = 80

=) x = 80/20 = 4

Hence present ages = 4*4, 7*4 and 9*4.

= 16,28,36.

hope it helps you!!

\huge{Hey,\:Mate\: Here\: Is\:your\:Answer}

\textbf{Given That ....}

The Present Age OF Three Persons Are In Ratio of 4:7:9 , And It's Also Said That 8 Years Ago The Sum Of

Their Ages was 56. Now We Need To Find Their Present Age ....

So let's Move To Solution ...

\textbf{Solution ...}

According To Question It's Said That The Present Ages Of Three Persons Are In Ratio of 4:7:9

[teSo Let 'x' Be The Constant Of Ratio..

So The Age Of

\textbf{First Person = 4x}

\textbf{Second Person = 7x}

\textbf{Third Person = 9x}

So Now 8 years Ago Their Ages =

\textbf{First Person = 4x-8}

\textbf{Second Person = 7x-8}

\textbf{Third Person = 9x-8}

So According To Question It's Said That Sum Of Their Age's 8years Ago Is Equal To 56 .

So By This We Have...

(4x - 8) + (7x - 8) + (9x - 8) = 56

Now Opening Brackets And Finding Sum Of LHS We Have ...

20x - 24 = 56

Now Taking - 24 To RHS We Have ....

20x = 80

Now Taking 20 To RHS We Have....

x = 4

So Now We Have Value Of 'X' Equal To 4

Now Putting This Value In Their Present Ages We Have...

\textbf{First Person = 4x = 4\times4 = 16years }

\textbf{Second Person = 7x = 7\times4 = 28years }

\textbf{Third Person = 9x =9\times4=36years }

Hence The Required Answer Is ---

\boxed{16,28,36 years}
