Correct Question:-

Correct question: The present age of Sita's father is three times the present age of Sita. After six years sum of their ages will be 69 years. Find their present ages

Solution:

Let the sita's present age = x

And Let sita's father's present age be y

According to the Question :

y = 3x

\implies\sf{x + 6 + 3x + 6 = 69}

\implies\sf{4x + 12 = 69}

\implies\sf{4x = 57}

\implies\sf{x =  \frac{57}{4} = 14.25 }

\implies\sf {y = 14.25 \times 3 = 42.75 }

Hence , Sita's present age is = 14.25 years .
