The present population of a town is 200000. it's population increases by 10% in the first year and 15% in the second year. Find the population of the town at the end of two years​

Answer:

present population = 200000

first increased by= 10%

=200000+10%of200000

=200000+20000

=220000

then increased by 15%

=220000+15%of220000

=220000+33000

=253000

so the present population is 253000
