population after 2 years

Solution:

5% of 24000 = \frac{24000*5}{100} = 1200

After 1 year population = 24000 + 1200 = 25200

Now,

5% of 25200 = 1260

After 2 Years population = 25200 + 1260 = 26460

So, after 2 years population = 26,460.
