et \: males \: be \:  x \\ and \: femaes \: be \:( 5000 - x)

 \frac{105}{100}  \times x +  \frac{103}{100}  \times (5000 - x) = 5212

105x + 515000 - 103x = 521200

2x = 521200 - 515000

2x = 6200

x = 3100

no.of nales=3100 &

fenales=1900
