Answer:
Prime minister is the head of the state who has to look onto the matters related to public needs and development,in short he is a part of executive who has been appointed to look after the citizens and the country it's economy etc.. so to reduce the burden of PM president is appointed who is given the duties like to advice the prime minister,he has to sign the bills so tha it becomes law, also he has massive power during emergency,he can dissolve the parliament and all other functions like commanding the forces etc which has nothing to do with execution.
