The president of india not empowered to remove judges of supreme court .is it true ?

The procedure to remove a supreme court judge with CJI is

A law should be passed to remove a judge from SC if he or she has been found of misbehaviour or any kind of illegal work . These laws must passed from both houses of parliament with a majority of two-third.
It might be looking simple or easy method for removing a judge but in the Indian history it didn't happend at all.
