the pressure due to atmosphere is very large . why we are not crushed?

Because we also exert the same amount of pressure outwards.....

ishanaghosh: It's because of our internal pressure. We have a lot of fluids in our body like blood, lymph, oxygen, co2 which exert pressure to balance atmospheric pressure.
