Answer:

Thrust acting on the surface is 3000N

Explanation:

Given pressure = 6000pa

Area = 0.5m

Pressure = Force/Area

We know that Thrust = Pressure × Area and pressure is force/area. So we substitute pressure in the thrust formula and we get: Thrust= Force/Area*Area.

Pressure = Force / Area

6000 = F/0.5

F = 6000×0.5

F = 3000

Thrust= Force/Area*Area.

= 3000/0.5×0.5

= 3000N
