The pressure of gas at 0°c is 50 cm of Hg at constant volume heated to 80°c then pressure is 64cm of Hg the pressure coefficient of gas...

pressure coefficient of gas is given by, \alpha=\frac{P_T-P_0}{P_0.T}

where, P_T is pressure of gas at temperature T and P_0 is pressure of gas at temperature 0°C.

here, P_T = 64cm Hg

P_0 = 50cm Hg

T = 80°C

then, α = (64 - 50)/(50 × 80)

= 14/4000

= 0.0035 /°C

hence, pressure coefficient of gas is 0.0035/°C
