The pressure of water on the ground floor is 4x10 Pa and on the first floor is 10 Pa. Find the hight of the first floor

pressure on gr floor= 4*10^4 – 10^4 = 30000 Pa (Pascal or, Newton / metre sq)

I Kg = 10 Newton

so, height of 1st floor = 30000 N/m^2 / density of water in kg/m^3

= 30000 N/m^2 / (1000 * 10) N/m^3)

= 3 m
