Given:

Pressure on ground floor P_{1} = 50000 Pa

Pressure on first floor P_{2} = 20000 Pa

Density of water \rho = 10^{3} \frac{Kg}{m^{2} }

Gravitational constant g = 10 \frac{m}{s^{2} }

To Find:

Height of the first floor,

From the formula of pressure difference,

  P_{1} -P_{2} = \rho g h

For finding height,

  50000-20000 = 1000 \times 9.8 \times h

  h = 3.061 m

Therefore, the height of the first floor is 3.061 m
