Pressure of water on the ground floor =P

1=60000Pa

Pressure of water on the first floor =P

2=10000Pa

Density, ρ=1000kg/m 3

We know that,

P 1−P2

=ρgh

⇒60000−10000=1000×10×h

∴h= 5m
