Answer :-

Let us assume that, the MP of the watch is Rs.100x .

so,

→ SP = MP * (100 - discount%)/100 = (100x * 80)/100 = Rs.80x .

now,

→ VAT = 10%

→ SP = Rs.80x

then,

→ Value of watch after VAT = (80x * 110)/100 = Rs.88x .

→ 88x = 2376

→ x = (2376/88)

→ 100x = (2376/88) * 100 = Rs.2700 (Ans.)
