Given:

The price of one cinema ticket = (x²-3x+9) Rs.

To find:

We have to find the number of tickets that can be purchased in Rs.(x⁴+9x²+81)

Solution:

Let us assume that 'a' no.of tickets can be purchased in Rs.(x⁴+9x²+81)

Now,   1 ticket costs       -     x²-3x+9

           'a' tickets costs   -    x⁴+9x²+81

Applying cross multiplication, we write

           a( x²-3x+9)  =  x⁴+9x²+81

                            a = ( x⁴+9x²+81) / ( x²-3x+9)

                            a =  x²+3x+9   [Refer to figure 1  attched below,division of

                                                             polynomials is described in detail]

  ∴x²+3x+9  tickets can be purchased in Rs.(x⁴+9x²+81)
