Hi Mate,

Let the price of ball(s) = x;
and, the price of bat(s) = y

By Substitution Method (Class X),
2x + 3y = 200......(1)
4x + 5y = 290.....(2)

From eq.(1),
2x + 3y = 200
2x = 200 - 3y
x = 200 - 3y / 2

Substituting the value of x in eq.(2),
4x + 5y =290
4(200 - 3y /2) + 5y = 290
2(200 - 3y) + 5y = 290
400 - 6y + 5y = 290
400 - y = 290
y = 400 - 290
y = 110

Putting the value of y in eq.(1),
2x + 3y = 200
2x + 3(110) = 200
2x + 330 = 200
2x = 330 - 200
2x = 130
x = 130 / 2
x = 65

Therefore, The price of Balls (x) =Rs.65;
and the price of Bats (y) = Rs.110

Good Day...!!
