\bold{\large{\red{\tt{ANSWER}}}}

Let the cost of a packet of chocolates be Rs. x and the cost of a packet of wafers be Rs. y.

This implies,

2(x) + 3(y) = 5400 -  -  > 1

A packet of chocolates costs Rs. 700 more than a packet of wafers.

Therefore,

x = 700 + y

Substituting \:  x = 700 + y \: in \: equation \: 1

   -  >  2(700 + y) + 3 \times y = 5400

  -  >  1400 + 2y + 3y = 5400

  -  > 5y = 5400 - 1400

 -  > 5y = 4000

 -  > y =  \frac{4000}{5}

 -  > y = 800

Now ,

x = 700 + y

 -  > x = 700 + 800

 -  > x = 1500

Therefore, the price of a packet of chocolates is Rs. 1500 and the price of a packet of wafers is Rs. 800

I hope it helps u dear friend ^_^♡♡
