let the price of 1 chair = x
let price of 1 table = y
   
                        3x + 2y = 4500...................equation 1
                         5x + 3y = 7000.....................equation 2
 
                 multiplying eq.1 by 3 and eq 2 by 2 we get

                 9x + 6y = 13500.......eq 3
                10x+6y= 14000..........eq4              (subtracting eq3 and eq4 we get)          -      -      -
               - x           =  -500
                                                 x=500
            y=1500

cost of 2 chairs = 2*500=1000
costr of 2 tables = 2*1500=3000
