Answer:

4 kg if rice =9 kg of wheat .....given

1kg of wheat =20rs......given

therefore,

9 kg of wheat =20 ×9 rs

=180rs

Then ,

4 kg of rice = 9 kg of wheat.....given

4 kg of rice = 180 rs

then,

8 kg of rice = 2 × 4kg of rice

8 kg of rice = 2×180rs

8 kg of rice =360rs

then,

1kg of rice= 180÷4

1kg of rice = 45rs

GIVEN: price of 4kg of rice=price of 9kg of wheat price of 1kg of wheat=20rs

to find: the cost of 8kg of rice and 6kg of wheat.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the price of 4kg of rice be x.

therefore,

4x=9x20

4x=180

x=180/4

x=45

therefore, the price of 1kg of rice is 45rs.

now, to find the price of 8kg of rice.

we know that,

the price 1kg of rice is 45rs therefore,

45*8=360

to find the cost of 6kg wheat,

20*6=120

hence, the price of 8kg rice is 360rs and the price of 6kg wheat is 120rs.
