Answer:

16.5 and 7

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the price 1 chocolate be C and that of biscuit be B.

=> price of 6 chocolate + 3 biscuit = 120

=> 6*price of 1 chocolate + 3*price of 1 biscuit = 120

=> 6C + 3B = 120 ... (1)

Similarly, for price of 10 chocolate and 1 biscuit,

=> 10C + 3B = 186 ... (2)

Subtract (1) from (2):

10C + 3B = 186

6C + 3B = 120

- - -

4C. = 66

C = 66/4 = 16.5

Hence,

6C + 3B = 120 → 6(16.5) + 3B = 120

=> 3B = 120 - 99 → 3B = 21

=> B = 21/3 = 7

Given:

  • 6 chocolates + 3 biscuit = 120 Rupees
  • 10 chocolates + 3 biscuit = 186 Rupees

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • Let the price of 1 chocolate be x rupees
  • Let the price of 1 packet of biscuit be y rupees

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Thus,

\purple{\bold{6x+ 3y = 120 Rupees---- i}}

and

\purple{\bold{ 10x+ 3y= 186 Rupees----ii}}

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

by Subtracting i from ii we get,

10x+ 3y - 6x -3y = 186- 120 Rupees

⟹ 4x= 66 Rupees

x= 16.5 Rupees

The price of chocolate is \red{\large{\bold{\boxed{16.5Rupees}}}}

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We know,

10x +3y =186

⟹ 10× 16.5 + 3y= 186 Rupees

⟹ 165+ 3y= 186 Rupees

⟹ 3y= 186- 165 Rupees

⟹ 3y= 21 Rupees

y = 7 Rupees

The price of a packet of biscuit is\red{\large{\bold{\boxed{7Rupees}}}}
