Answer:

Let the cost of umbrella be x.

Cost of bag = x+150

According to Question,

x+x+150 = 500

=> 2x = 500-150

=> 2x = 350

=> x = 175

Hence, cost of umbrella = Rs.175

Cost of bag = Rs.(175+150) = Rs.325

Answer:

let the cost of the umbrella is x Rs

so the cost of the bag is (x+150)Rs

according to question,

x+(x+150)=500

x+x+150=500

2x=500-150

2x=350

x=350/2=175

so the cost of the umbrella is 175 Rs

and the cost of the bag is (175+150)Rs=325Rs
