The price of a bag and an umbrella together is 1000 rupees. The price of the bag is 300 rupees more than that of the umbrella. What is the price of each?​

Answer:

Let the C.P of umbrells be x. _______ 1

C.P of Bag is x+300. ________2

A.T.Q

x +x+300=1000

2x+300=1000

2x = 1000-300

2x = 700

x = 700 ÷2 =350 _________3

Now put the value of Eq 3rd in 1st we get .C.P of umbrella = 350

Now in 2nd i,e x +300 =350 +300 = 650

C.P OF BAG = 650

C.P OF UMBRELLA =350
