12 % Discount  seller has to allow for the deal

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Listed Price of Cycle = L  Rs

12 % GST  = (12/100)L  = 0.12L  Rs

Amount = L + 0.12L = 1.12L   Rs

1.12L = 3136

=> L = 2800

List Price = Rs 2800

GST is on Listed price

GST amount = 0.12L = 0.12* 2800 = 336  Rs

Let say Discount =  D %

(D/100)2800  =  336

=> D = 12

12 % Discount  seller has to allow for the deal
