\huge\boxed{\underline{\mathcal{\red{H}\purple{E}\green{L}\orange{L}\pink{O}}}}

price of the books= Rs. 15.75

marked price = Rs. 15.75

price after discount = Rs. 12.75

Discount given to the student = 15.75-12.75

= Rs. 3

Now,

Discount percent = Discount/MP × 100

= Rs. 3/Rs.15.75× 100

= 19.04(approx.)

Answer:

Cost Price = 15.75

Selling price = 12.75

Discount money = 3

discount% = 3/15.75 * 100

= 19.05 % (discount got by the student)
