Let original price be x
New price = x + 25
Let the percentage to be decreased be y% of (x + 25)
According to the question
(x+25) - (x+25)*y% = x
(x+25) - x = (x+25)*y%
25 = (x+25)*y%
y% = 25/(x+25)
New price = x + 25
Let the percentage to be decreased be y% of (x + 25)
According to the question
(x+25) - (x+25)*y% = x
(x+25) - x = (x+25)*y%
25 = (x+25)*y%
y% = 25/(x+25)
