rate of sales tax=5%

then,

5%of x+ x= rs6930

5x/100+x=rs 6930

105x/100= rs 6930

x=rs 6930×100/105=6600

x=rs6600

if sales tax increase by 8

then,

8% of 6600 = 8×6600/100 = 528

new amount inclusive of tax= 6600+528= 7128

extra amount that a customer will pay =rs(7120-6930)= rs 190
