The price of a mobile was 12.000 . It's price was decreased in the ratio 7:4 . What is the decreased price

Answer:

The price of mobile = 12000

The ratio is 7:4

Let the number be x

So 7x = 12000

x = 12000 ÷ 7

Then 4 = 12000 ÷ 7 × 4

= 1711.11 × 4

= 6844.44 rupees
