hey mate!!!

Solution

let the price of one jeans be x rupees and the price of a shirt be y rupees.

hence,

x+ 2y= 2440.....(1)

now,

x= y+400.....(2)

substituting value of x in (1),

x+ 2y= 2440

y+400+2y= 2440

3y+400= 2440

3y= 2440-400

3y= 2040

y= 2040/3

y= 680 rupees.

now,

substituting value of y in (2),

x= y+400

x= 680+400

x= 1080 rupees

hope this helps!!

EXPLAINATION-

Let the price of t-shirt be x.

Then,the price of two t-shirt =2x

The price of 2 jeans=x+400

=2x+(x+400)=2440

=3x+400=2440

=3x=2440-400

=3x=2040

=x=2040/3

=x=680

=Price of one t-shirt=680

=Price of a pair of jeans=x+400=680+400=1080

Plz mark it as brainiest..plz...
