the price of a scooter is 55000. it depreciates at the rate of 10%in first year, 15%in second year and 20%in third year. what will be its value after 3 years?

BhushanK1: ok. so its like this. in the third year the scooter's price is 20% less than 55000. so it is 55000 - 20% of 55000 that is 55000-11000=44000

the price of a scooter=55000Rs
then,ten percent of price=10÷100×55000=5500(1)year
fifteen percent of price=15÷100×55000=8250(2)year
twenty percent of price =20÷100×55000=11000(3)year
add1+2+3=5500+8250+11000=24750
then the value of scooter after three years =55000-24750=30250Rs.
