Answer:

Original price of the shirt

= x = Rs1415.59

Explanation:

Let the original price of a

shirt = Rs x

Discount (d) = 15%

Selling price (s.p) = Rs1203.25

Now ,

x = (s.p × 100)/(100-d)

= ( 1203.25 × 100)/(100-15)

= 120325/85

= Rs 1415.59

Therefore,

Original price of the shirt

= x = Rs1415.59

\bf\huge\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\:to\:the\:Question}}}

Suppose the original price of shirt be p

Discount = 15%

Selling price

= Rs 1203.25

Hence,

\tt{\rightarrow P = \dfrac{SP\times 100}{100-d}}

\tt{\rightarrow P = \dfrac{1203.25\times 100}{100-15}}

\tt{\rightarrow P = \dfrac{120325}{85}}

= Rs 1415.59

Hence,
