LET X BE THE ORIGINAL PRICE.
PRESENT PRICE= Rs. 896
increase in the price = 12 of x
therefore, x(1+12/100)= 896
x + 12x/100 = 896
100x/100 + 12x/100 = 896
112x/100 = 896
x = (896×100) ÷ 112
= 800 Rs.
PRESENT PRICE= Rs. 896
increase in the price = 12 of x
therefore, x(1+12/100)= 896
x + 12x/100 = 896
100x/100 + 12x/100 = 896
112x/100 = 896
x = (896×100) ÷ 112
= 800 Rs.
