The price of a washing machine is Rs. 15,000. The sales tax charged on it is at the rate of 15%. Find the amount that Arjun will have to pay if he buys it.

15% of 15,000 = 15×15000/100
= 2250 RS
So the sale tax is RS 2250
Thus , total price = 15000+2250 = Rs 17,250
Therefore Arjun have to pay RS 17,250 to buy washing machine
