1080-960/960 * 100%

120/960 * 100%

100/8%

12.5 %

AyushMorbar: Increase in price = Rs.(1080-960) = Rs.120
I% = I/Original Value x 100
= I % = 12.5% Therefore, 12.5 % is the percentage increased!

Initial price = Rs 960
Final price = Rs 1080

Increase in price = 1080 - 960 = Rs 120

Increase % = 120/960 x 100% = 12.5 %

Hope This Helps You!
