Let a number be 100
Its decreased by 10%= 100- (10/100×100)
= 90

Let the increase % be x

90+(x/100×90)= 100
90+ 90x/100
90x/100= 100-90
x= 10×100/90
x= 100/9 % or 11 whole 1 by 9 %

Hope it helps☺

Answer:

Let the number be 100

It decreased by 10%= 100-10%of 100

100-10/100×100= 100-10= 90

The equation will be:

90 + ( \frac{x}{100}  \times 90) = 100 \\ 90 +  \frac{90x}{100} = 100  \\  \frac{90x}{100}  = 100 - 90 = 10 \\  \frac{90x}{100} = 10 \\ 90x =  100 \times 10 = 1000 \\ 90x = 1000 \\ x =  \frac{1000}{90} =  \frac{100}{9}   = 11  \frac{1}{9} \\

It is the answer.
