Let us assume that the price of coffee be 100 unit. Now, the price of coffee has been reduced by 8%. So, we can find the current price of the coffee and the price becomes,

100 - 100*8/100 = 92 unit.

Again, the seller asked to increase the money in this way that the price of the coffee will become the previous price, i.e. the price will be 100. So, let, the price would be increased by x%

then, we have, 100 = 92 + 92*x/100

                      or, 8 = 92*x/100

                      or, x = 200/23 = 8.696

Answer: The price will increase by 8.696%.
