The price of lamp in shop A is Rs 600. The same lamp is 5% costlier in shop B. What is the price of the lamp in shop B.

Price of lamp in shop A = Rs. 600

Price of lamp in shop B = 600 + 5 percent of 600

5 percent of 600 = 5/100 x 600

=5 x 6

= 30

therefore price of lamp in shop B = 600 + 30

                                                        = Rs. 630
