HEYA MATE, HERE IS UR ANSWER _________________
Let the price earlier be 100 Rs.
Increase in price =25%OF 100
=25/100×100
= 25Rs.

percentage Decrease in consumption = Increase in price /100+percent increase ×100
=25/100+25×100
= 25/125×100
=20%

So decrease in the consumption should be 20%.

Price increase by 25%, i.e., if the price was 100 it increase to 125.

Now,  to find the percentof  the consumption that needs to be reduced, such that expence remains equal,

= (125-100) * 100 / 125  %

=20%
