Answer:

If he buys prawns by 3/4 of his money so

3/4×100=₹75

If he buys squid with 1/4 of his money so

1/4×100=₹25

According to the question 1 kg of prawns is of ₹150 so by spend ₹75 he can buy 500g (1/2 kg)of prawns.

Similarly here 1kg of squid costs ₹50 so by spending ₹25 he can buy 500g(1/2 kg) of squid.

Here is the answer to your question:

a) He buys 1/2 kg of prawns

b) He buys 1/2 kg of squids.

Answer:

a) 1/2 kg

b) 1/2 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

one fourth = 25 Rs

three-fourth = 75 Rs

50 Rs = 1 kg of squish fish

1 Rs = 1/50 kg

25 Rs = 1/50 ×25 kg

= 1/2 kg of squish fish

150 rs = 1kg of prawns

1 rs = 1/150 kg of prawns

75 Rs = 1/150 ×75 kg

= 1/2 kg of prawns
