The price of shoes was increased by 15%. However, customers were given a 20% discount if they bought two pairs at the same time. Work out the cost of two pairs of shoes that originally cost £68 each.

cos of one pair is originally 68 then it is increased by 15% that is 68+15/100 *68 = 78.2

20% discount if 2 paires are bought the value of 2 pairs now is 78.2*2=156.4

after giving 20% discount value is 156.4 - 20/100 *156.4 = 125.12 therefore ans is 125.12
