suppose, price of sugar be 100 rupees per kg

So, for 1 rupees she get =10 grams

Now, price of sugar is 120

So, for 1 rupees she get

=

 \frac{100}{12} g

So, for 100 she get

 = 833.3g

So, decrease in consumption

 = \frac{1000 - 833.3}{1000} \times 100

 = 166.7 \times 10

 = 16.67\%

hope it's helpful to you....
