Original price of the sugar =Rs.35

new price of the sugar =Rs.40

i.e. increases in price =Rs.(40−35)=Rs.5

hence,

Percentage increase = increase in value / original value × 100

=5/35×100

=15%

Answer:

₹36.75

Step-by-step explanation:

1kg sugar = 35

price increased by 5%

After 5% of 35 = 5/100×35

= 1.75

After the July month price increased by 5% = 35+1. 75

. = ₹36.75
