a + b + ab/100 = 0 (as the expenditure has to be same)

20 + b + 20b/100 = 0 => 1.2b = -20 => b = -20/1.2 = 50/3

Reduction in quantity of sugar (in percentage) = 50/3%

Original Consumption = 100 units or 100%

Desired Ratio = (50/3)/100 = 1/6 = 1 : 6
