the price of wheat decreases by 10%.as a result 3kg more wheat is obtained at rs. 405.what was the previous price of 1kg of wheat? ​

Answer:

let the previous prce of one kg of wheat be x

current cost of three kg of wheat = 405

so, current cost of one kg of wheat = 405/3

current cost of three kg of wheat = 135

now, decrease in price = 10%

so, x - [ 10% of x ] = 135

x - [ 10/100 * x ] = 135

x - [ x/10 ]  = 135

[ 10x - x ] / 10 = 135

9x / 10 = 135

9x = 135*10

9x = 1350

x = 1350/9

x = 150

previous price of i kg of wheat = rs. 150
