Here we are given that the product o two rational numbers is -10

Also, one f the number is 1 / 5

We have to find the other number

Let the other number be x

Then, x × 1/5 = -10

               x = -10 × 5

               x = -50

Hence, the other number will be -50

Given: The product of two rational numbers is-10 and one of the numbers is1/5.

We have to find the other number.

We are solving in the following way:

We have,

The product of two rational number is-10 and one of the numbers is1/5.

Let assume the other number will be'x'.

From the given statement, we can write:

=>\frac{1}{5} \times x=-10\\\\=>\frac{x}{5} =-10\\\\=>x=-10\times5\\\\=>x=-50

Solving the above equation we get,

x=-50

Hence, the other number will be-50.
