The primary cause of biodiversity loss is pollution and the destruction of biomes or forest lands.

Explanation:

Biodiversity loss are the extinction or reduction of the number of any particular species or biological components in the ecology.

Due to the increasing population, the human interference has increased because of which it is directly affecting the other specimen's lives and the ecosystem.

To fulfill the needs of the increasing population the humans are destroying the forestlands, cutting trees, the usage of number of vehicles has increased leading to the increment  of pollutants as well as pollution.

This all effect the life of other species and animals leading to the biodiversity loss and extinction of many species.

Example: Javan rhino only left with 46 to 60 its species .
