The primary sector is sector which include Agriculture Activity, Mining Etc.

Agriculture is most important part of Primary Sector. Primary Sector has largest number of people, but its contribution is low because of low productivity. Indian farmers are poor in comparison of other country, there are many reason behind that.

World moves towards the technology,due to costly agriculture machines many farmers cant afford and they use their family member in field, due to this productivity is low and low productivity directly related with low contribution.

Second most important reason is rain, Indian agriculture is depend upon rain, farmers cant afford heavy technology to start irrigation process. Rain is very uncertain. Due to lack of rain many areas didn't produce sufficient product as per their capacity, due to this productivity is low.
