Coalition government means more than one party joined together and democratically formed the government.
EXPLANATION:
Prime Minister is the real executive of the Union government, he is the communicator between the President and cabinet ministers (government).
If any single party doesn’t win over 50% of the total seats then any two or more parties coalesce themselves form a government.
In this case, the Prime minister can’t decide in a free manner. Coalition parties forced some restrictions or pressure on the Prime ministers and cabinet ministers.
