The principle reservoir for storing heat on the earth is the ozone layer which filters the Sunlight but also does not allow the heat on the earth to leave.

If the heat on the earth would not be retained then most of the living organisms on the earth would die and hence it is the best choice to save the Ozone layer and to reduce the pollution that we cause.
