The principles of non-violence, non-stealing, in-possession, truthfulness are the basic and most important principles of Jainism.

Jainism is constructed on these principles and they follow all these principles strictly. The three more essence of Jainism is aparigraha which means the non possession, ahimsa which means nonviolence and anekantavada that is one side.
